Mark Alexander - Response to Larry Moffitt

RESPONSE TO LARRY MOFFITT'S letter

Dear Larry,

Imagine that you were Hyung Jin Nim and that you believed what your Father/True Parents said
about you in numerous public events from 2008 to 2012, that you are the heir/successor of
His/True Parents' work, not in the future, but now.

You are working to bring health, renewal and change to the UM in Korea and Japan, with
encouraging growth in membership and respect from Korean media, government institutions, but
as your Father is getting ill, you see indications that your own Mother is working with church
leaders to change key words and covenants that Father said not to change. You also see
hundreds of millions of dollars of blood money from Japan being siphoned off by the same person
who is said to be "channeling" Mother's mother as well as by other "leaders" whom Mother trusts.

You ask her on your knees many times not to make these changes. She is angry that you insist on
obeying Father instead of her Cheongpyeong­centered "innovations" and has you fired from all of
your responsibilities in Korea. You are sent to America where you hope that positive change can
happen because of American brothers and sisters' character, history and Christian foundation.
You create local and regional councils and you starting speaking and teaching to ministers and
members about Father's Absolute Sex teaching.

Instructions come from your Mother through her proxies that teaching about Absolute Sex must
stop immediately. Soon after you are fired from your position in America, with the demand that you
come back to Korea and bow down to the same people who are desecrating your Father's words.
Some of them tell you to pretend to agree with what Mother is doing and then you will take power
after she goes to spirit world, but your conscience won't let you do that.

You move your family to rural Pennsylvania and spend time communing in the outdoors all night
with God and Father, holding worship services in a very bare living room, making effort to connect
strongly with Jesus and Father. Brothers and sisters start to come to your worship service even
though the church headquarters warns them not to go.

Your Mother continues to claim that she monopolizes Father's will and has the authority to make
all kinds of changes that converge on people needing to liberate more of their ancestors by
sending more of their savings to Cheongpyeong. She starts to sit on Father's throne since she IS
True Parents. She starts to teach that she was born sinless (change of blood lineage in the
womb), implying that she did not need to meet your Father, Sun Myung Moon, to be the "only
begotten daughter of God."

You realize that, even though you have barely enough resources to take care of your family, if you
do not speak strongly to brothers and sisters around the world, that your Father's words and
teaching will be erased/"polished" from the earth. You know that you will be judged as a
disobedient son who was "angry," "impatient," and "power­hungry." But if you don't speak out,
brothers and sisters will lose their connection to the Messiah's lineage and his foundation hijacked
to support a "palace" and a place where people "pay" to have their sins removed.

But you speak out anyway, feeling God's love and protection despite the storm around you. At
least you and your wife are totally united in a desire to honor Father's will. You and your family will
serve and honor the Lord of the Second Advent, even if your Mother and most of those who
promised not to change Father's words, threaten, mock and scorn you. You believe that God will
work, and He does...
